CPD and CEUs at Together Conference 2025: What You Need to Know

CPD and CEUs at Together Conference 2025: What You Need to Know

If you're joining us at The Together Conference 2025, there’s good news: you’ll not only gain access to thoughtful sessions and multilingual insights — you'll also be able to earn CPD points or CEUs (depending on your professional body). And with our Enhanced Access ticket, you can even earn more.

This is the first time Together Conference is formally offering RID CEUs — and it’s something we’re really proud of. Here’s a breakdown of how it works, whether you’re based in the UK, the US, Australia, or another part of Europe.

Why It Matters

Evidencing your learning isn’t just a tick-box exercise. Keeping track of your CPD — or earning CEUs — shows that you’re staying engaged, accountable, and responsive to changes in practice. It can:

  • Strengthen your professional credibility

  • Provide reassurance to clients and agencies

  • Help you track how your thinking and practice are evolving

  • Support revalidation or renewal with your registering body

It’s also a way to show the profession (and those outside of it) that ongoing development is an expectation, not a bonus.

🇬🇧 CPD for UK-Based Practitioners (NRCPD)

Yes, Together Conference counts toward structured CPD for interpreters and translators registered with NRCPD.

  • Standard Access = 12 structured CPD points

  • Enhanced Access = 12 points plus additional points for bonus sessions

You’ll receive a CPD certificate that allows you to self-declare which sessions you attended. To support your reflective practice, we’ll also provide:

  • A CPD Handbook with templates for reflective logs

  • Reflection prompts linked to each session

Whether you’re collecting CPD for registration or just want to keep your skills sharp, this is a flexible, evidence-rich way to do it.

🇺🇸 CEUs for RID-Certified Interpreters (USA)

Thanks to our partnership with OCRID (Ohio Chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf), interpreters certified through RID can earn CEUs via the PINRA process.

Here’s how:

  1. Email cmp@ocrid.org by 14 June 2025 to start the process.

  2. Complete a PINRA form before the conference begins.

  3. Submit supporting documents (all available on our website):

    • Session descriptions with objectives

    • Speaker bios

    • Full schedule

  4. Attend the sessions and use your certificate of attendance to self-declare hours.

Need more info to support your CEU claim? We’re happy to provide expanded outlines or answer sponsor queries — just get in touch.

🇦🇺 Earning CPD in Australia (NAATI / ASLITA)

If you're based in Australia, Together Conference sessions can be counted as formal learning activities for your NAATI recertification.

  • NAATI allows self-declared CPD via its online portal.

  • We recommend checking with your state or national representative — such as ASLITA, one of our valued partners.

We provide everything you need:

  • A formal certificate of attendance

  • Duration and objectives for each session

  • Structured reflection materials and optional CPD session

🌍 Europe and Beyond

Across Europe, professional development systems vary, but many interpreters keep CPD portfolios to demonstrate ongoing learning. The Together Conference provides all the necessary materials to support this:

  • Certificates

  • Session outlines

  • Bios and durations

  • Reflective tools

We’ve had interpreters in France, Spain, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands include our sessions in their CPD records. If your agency, employer, or association needs more detail, just let us know — we’re happy to help.

Making It Count

Whether you're attending live or catching up later, your learning is valid, recognised, and supported. We’ve worked hard to make the process simple — and our CPD resources are designed with real-world practice in mind.

If you want to:

  • Document your growth

  • Build your portfolio

  • Earn CEUs or CPD points with confidence

...Together Conference 2025 has everything in place to support you.

Stay curious. Stay connected. And take your learning further.
