🎬 What to Do: 

Create a short video (up to 3 minutes) telling us why taking part in The Together Conference 2026 would be valuable for you as a developing interpreter or translator.
You could also share how this year’s theme, “Pick it up, Pass it on,” connects to your future in the profession.

Be creative, be yourself, and show us what being part of this community means to you.

📝 Competition Rules

Who can enter: Open to pre-registration, student, or trainee sign language interpreters and translators.
Language: Submit your video in English, any national Sign Language (with English subtitles), or International Sign (with English subtitles).

Length: Maximum 3 minutes.
File size: Up to 100MB.
Deadline: 17:00, Friday 20th March 2026 – late entries won’t be accepted.
Notification: Winners will be contacted by Monday 23rd March 2026 using the contact details provided.
Tickets: Complimentary tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the winners.
Content: Videos should promote positivity, professionalism, and inclusion.
Rights: By submitting, you grant The Together Conference permission to share your video for promotional purposes.
Judging: Entries will be reviewed by our Conference Review Panel, who will select the winners.

Sign Language Interpreters and Translators living and working in countries where sign language interpreting and translating are still developing professions. This includes regions where formal training routes, regulation, professional development, or government support are limited or emerging.

If your video isn’t in English, please include English captions or subtitles.

In your video, tell us how attending The Together Conference 2026 would support your own growth as a professional and how it could benefit other interpreters or translators in your country.

You might also want to share your perspective on the challenges and opportunities for interpreters and translators in your region — whether that’s around education, legislation, regulation, or professional recognition.

And, of course, you can reflect on how this year’s theme, “Pick it up, Pass it on,” relates to your experience and the future of the profession where you live.
