I'd like to access the sign language interpreters. How do I do that?

The conference is delivered in British Sign Language and spoken English. Attendees joining an English-spoken session who wish to view BSL interpretation can enable the interpreter's video in Zoom.

Attendees using a phone or tablet may find a second device useful for accessing conference resources, questions and the conference chat without interrupting their view of the interpreter.

Desktop or laptop, Windows/macOS

For the best experience, including the ability to resize and reposition the interpreter's video, we recommend using the official Zoom desktop application rather than joining through a web browser.

  1. Click the Interpretation globe icon in the Zoom controls.
  2. Select British Sign Language.
  3. The interpreter video will appear separately. It can be repositioned and resized.

Smartphone or tablet, iOS/Android

The official Zoom mobile application is required for this feature.

  1. Tap the screen to display the meeting controls.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Interpretation and select British Sign Language.

Do I need to download the conference platform?

No. The conference platform runs in a web browser and can be accessed on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

Ticket holders use The Hub in LineUpr for the conference schedule, conference chat, Q&A and interaction features, partner information, resources and links to live and recorded sessions.

We recommend accessing the conference primarily on a laptop or desktop computer. A second mobile or handheld device can be useful for chat, information and resources.

Ticket holders will receive their conference access information seven days before the conference.

Where supported by the attendee's device or browser, the conference platform can also be saved to the device's home screen for convenient access.
